Sunset Trail is a family-owned U-pick blackberry farm in McKinney, Texas. We grow thornless blackberries using organic practices. Come enjoy a day of berry picking, see the farm animals, and make some memories!
General Admission tickets: $5 per person (booked online in advance) Tickets are for feet on the ground. Non-walking babies are free. Walk-up admission is $6.
Group Discount Berry Rates:
Blackberries: $40 Large bucket, $24 Medium bucket, $11 Kid-size bucket. Purchased at check-in. If you wish to keep the bucket, there is a small additional charge. We provide bags to take your berries home. *Please see bucket policy*
*Bucket Policy: Everyone entering the berry patch must purchase a bucket to use for picking. (OR two people may share a medium bucket OR three may share a large - otherwise each must purchase a small bucket individually.) If you do not wish to pick, you may remain outside the berry patch and relax in the shade in one of our adirondack chairs.
Mommy & Me Tour: $7 per child (Parents free) Tickets are purchased at the check-in tent upon arrival. Tours are offered Tuesday through Friday mornings at 9:15 and 10:15 am and include an educational tour of the farm, learning about the importance of farmers, animals and chores, learning about plants and pollinators, feeding the chickens and ducks, and peeking into the nesting boxes to see some freshly laid eggs. Free popsicle or blackberry lemonade for everyone in the group at the end of the tour.
*Due to limited capacity, this is intended to be an add-on experience to berry picking, and not a stand-alone experience and is also purchased at the tent upon entry.
